Brian Rinaldi's Gravatar You can be such an ideologue that it clouds your reading or causes you to disregard the facts. Bernanke said nothing like what you paraphrase.

"Mr. Bernanke told the Senate Banking Committee that the Federal Reserve was doing everything it could to unlock credit markets and ease the financial crisis, but he said it could take until 2010 before government’s actions gain traction."

Taking until 2010 to "gain traction" doesn't sound remotely similar to your "ending soon."

tony's Gravatar those were the headlines on drudge at that moment when i cut and pasted it... it was more shock at all those things, than me truly buying into the hype... and i didnt even read the link... i was shocked by the headline and on my way to a meeting :)
