Dear Roger Clemens,

I just listened to you on Mike and Mike in the morning on Espn Radio and i have to say, you are a big fat liar. The joke of an interview that you just gave those guys was about as disingenuous as I've ever heard in my life. You stammered, you dodged and you evaded everything the guys asked you.

For you to think that we are this stupid, that we would take these answer you gave as truth, is an insult. No one believes you roger, not one single bit. As evidenced by your broken speech patterns and as I mentioned before, stammering, you were and are lying to everyone. And to think that Andy Pettitte "mis-remembers" anything hahahaha, right! I did not even realize that "mis-remember" was a word. Jackass!

We don't care what you think you are doing now that is good, what you overshadow that with is a cloud of dishonesty so thick that we can't see the accomplishments you did on the field. Sure you enamored us with your play on the field, sure you won 7 Cy Young awards, but what you fail to see is that you did it all with the help of performance enhancing drugs. Oddly enough, we wouldnt care about that, not one bit, if you were just a bit more honest about it. Your colleagues have said you took and discussed with them steroids and other drugs, and they have even been man enough to come out with the truth themselves, why can't you do the same?

You make it worse, with every lie told Roger, and in closing, I hope that someday you come to peace with yourself and this game and the way you have tarnished it. at that point, you may find yourself voted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. until then, i just dont see it.

Good riddance Roger, and thank you again, thank you for ruining my outlook on Major League Baseball.

having grown up a baseball fan my whole life, and playing it for 15 or 16 years, 755 was always a magic number to me. it, for the geeks who read this, is the number of home runs hit by hank aaron in his illustrious and historic career in major league baseball.

recently, yesterday, barry bonds hit his 756th career homerun. amidst a ton of steroid controversy. anyway, i dont really have time to write this, but i wanted to make mention of this, because when he is completely found out, and the truth comes to the light, 755 will again be the record in the REAL record books for homeruns hit.

So today, against the Athletics of Oakland, cross-town rival, and cross-bay rival the San Francisco Giants beat Oakland. Not that big of a deal, but for one fact. Barry Bonds hit his 714th homerun. I really should be happy about this. Baseball fans *should* be happy about this. But, I cant. I just cant.

I remember the day that Cal Ripken played his Ironman game. I remember the day Mark beat the homerun record (Now, I wish we knew then, what we know now :( I remember the day Sammy beat Mark (Again, now I wish I knew then, what I know now!)

I realize that as long as there have been athletes who are trying to win games, there have been athletes who have done everything they could to get an edge... to beat their opponent, in any way they can. You know, there was guys with Vaseline on their hats, in their gloves, and who knows where else... There were pitchers who put sandpaper in their glove to scuff the ball. All in an effort to get an edge on their opponent, and beat them anyway they could.

So, why is Barry different? I guess, to me, it's just different because he lied, acted pretentiously and took our intelligence and fucked it down the toilet. So, with that, I hope that Major League Baseball does not celebrate this feat. I hope that Major League Baseball finds cause to disqualify him from the record books. I hope that everything Henry Aaron stood for stands pat and does not fall to this cheat. Henry Aaron was an amazing man, who fought through many, unjuiced seasons, to become the legend he is today. I think that Barry took it upon himself to artificially grow his body in a manner that gave him an unfair edge on pitchers, therefore enabling him to hit more and more homeruns.

I realize that for many years he probably did not juice up, and played with a straight edge. But I also think that at some point, he came upon Balco Labs, declining physical ability, and natural aging. But at the point he did this... he basically pissed on the heart of the game, and is now threatening all that is sacred in the game.

I think I could have forgiven him had he apologized. But since he is so indignant, and pointed in his denial, and has such a bad attitude towards us... I say... goodbye gracie... goodbye!

i think one of the coolest parts about the Red Sox killing the Yankees in the ALCS this year is the presence of orlando cabrera on the field. i got to watch him play in Single A for the Delmarva Shorebirds. And now he is on the big stage. what a GREAT night for Baseball Fans Everywhere!
