Another layer of poo, on the pile that is my life sometimes...

yeah... sucks to think that way sometimes, but sometimes i feel like the shit just wont stop... why you ask? well, we lost another animal last night...

roxanne, a cat that has lived with me, and outside of my house now for about 5 years, died. so, on top of all the bullshit i have been through in the past 6 months, having to put my main man down, losing an uncle, going through a divorce, and who knows what else, im prolly forgetting something, ive now lost a cat. man, what a year.

anyway, there is a lot of light at the end of the tunnel, and her name is kennedy. we have been through a shitload together in the past six months, but hell, if we can make it through that, i think we can make it through anything!!!

thanks for being there for me babe...

roxy, we will miss you sweetheart... have fun up there with your brother rocky!

A pit bull story, with a happy beginning!

Being the proud owner of a Pit Bull (American Staffordshire Terrier) named "Rocky", I constantly feel like I am defending the beloved breed. Well, here is a GREAT video of a female Pit Bull who has decided to start taking care of a litter of kittens abandoned by their mother. The video appeared on Cnn.com today, and really goes to show, what we, as Pit Bull owners have said all along... it's not the dog, it's the person who raises the dog that is the problem.

Kudos to you Mrs. Pit Bull, you are giving your breed a good name!

Pinot - My Italian Greyhound

Here are some new pictures of the lovely Pinot (Rocky's Pinot Nero is going to be her full AKC registered name.) She even came with a chip implanted!

Anyway, up until this afternoon, I only had my cellphone camera handy. However, now I went home and got my digital camera. Here are some new pictures of her:

1. Looking down
2. Looking left
3. Looking right
4. Hello, its me!
5. A tall glass of Pinot
6. I swear I'm not clumsy
7. Close up
8. In my cool little carrier

By the way, today at her first vet appointment, she weighed a WHOPPING 5 lbs.
